As the world’s leading manufacturer of milk products – including household brand Dutch Lady – Friesland Campina was looking to create an office and laboratory that would meet not only their functional needs but also represent the company, their workforce and organisational culture.
The key concept driver behind the R&D Centre was evaluating how an office and laboratory would operate from a single location and, therefore, developing a design and build strategy to make it happen. The process involved appreciating the multi-cultural expanse of work styles that needed to be adopted, while the end result was producing a design that enhanced a global brand through creative expression and technical integration.
