Aesthetically, the design takes inspiration from the brand’s work with imaging, playing with pixels, sharp profiles and a sophisticated palette of colours and tones that provide the same attention to detail consumers have come to expect from the leading brand. The result is a modern yet vibrant work environment suited for productivity and collaboration.
Olympus, a leading manufacturer of optical and digital precision technology, engaged ID21 to transform their new retail showroom and office at Alexandra Techno Park.
Space planning plays a crucial role in shaping work areas that blurred the lines between departments and divisions to help connect the staff.
A central breakout area and the use of greenery as natural partitions drive wellness and invigoration. The office ecosystem supports activity-based working with alternative work settings to make it easier for staff to find spaces to focus or collaborate. A variety of meeting and collaboration areas are evenly spread throughout the layout, creating a natural flow that encourages exploration and teamwork.
The design highlight “One Olympus” and the central breakout area strategically positioned next to a cluster of meeting rooms that can be configured in multiple ways to create different-sized event or townhall spaces to accommodate up to 300 people.
"We selected this as the final design because we liked the comfortable and green design proposed by ID21. It had met our expectations of: getting a lot of natural sunlight, and an ability to to reconfigure the space freely."
