Our design objective was to create a functional retail space that balances product education, display and sampling, in a cosy environment that provides a smooth retail experience and reason to linger. Products are displayed in a manner that encourages customers to touch, feel and smell.
ID21’s design for Young Living Singapore doesn’t just look good; it empowers the business to improve efficiencies and experiences for staff and customers alike. This space allows Young Living to optimise precious retail real-estate. With three separate entrances, this mixed-use space is carefully carved out to serve the needs of employees, its constant flow of visitors down to delivery personnel, enhancing traffic and security. The 7,804 sqft space can be configured differently to accommodate up to 100 visitors at peak periods, training facilities that fit 50 and doubles effectively as an overflow area, as well as storage and workspace for the staff.
Plenty of soft furnishing settings are placed around the store for visitors to wait while their orders are fulfilled or connect with sales associates or other customers to build a sense of community. A dedicated area in the store educates customers as to how they make their products. Ads are also made available in the store for customers to easily show associates what they’re looking for or find out more information on their own.
The new Young Living showroom is a purposefully-crafted space that combines design, personalisation, and functionality. Well-spread out displays and collaboration points are carved out in intimate niches to ensure smooth circulation and stress-free experience that feels personal.
